Mission The National Youth Theatre Company is committed to mentoring and educating Australia's next generation of theatre-makers through the provision of high quality initiatives for young people. NYTC develops and maintains accessible platforms for the continuing education and promotion of young artists, with a vision to sustain an enriching and vibrant theatrical community.

General Information The National Youth Theatre Company is Australia's new premier theatre company for young people. NYTC members receive industry-standard performance training and opportunities to showcase their work locally and nationally. NYTC theatrical productions provide industry-level access for young artists via an ongoing commitment to supporting local and regional development initiatives. Our commitment to sustainable work practice and mentorship opportunities aim to empower young artists to reach their full potential and form strong industry links for a career in the Performing Arts.

Inspiration
Location The National Youth Theatre Company is based in Enmore, Sydney, New South Wales. Applications are open nation-wide, however NYTC rehearsals currently take place in Sydney, and involvement requires relocation on the company member's behalf for participants living interstate. All interested parties are considered for NYTC, and are regularly informed of the movements and opportunities of the company on a national scale. Regional opportunities also take place regularly for participants living in remote or isolated areas.
